About Linda Hogan
Chickasaw poet, novelist, essayist, playwright, and activist Linda Hogan was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize with her 1990 novel,
Mean Spirit. In 1998, she was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Native Writers’ Circle of the Americas. In 2007, she was inducted into the Chickasaw Hall of Fame, and served as a Writer in Residence for the Chickasaw Nation.
